On September 14, 2009, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) held meeting arranging the works for prevention and control against A (H1N1) flu in the next phase.

       Shao Mingli, the commissioner of SFDA insisted that the food and drug regulatory departments should conscientiously implement the arrangements promulgated by the State Council and the Ministry of Health, and do their best on prevention and control against A H1N1 flu at present.

       Shao Mingli said that the departments of SFDA or the departments affiliated to SFDA should have full realization on the difficulties of prevention and control against A (H1N1) flu, and should enhance the responsibility and urgency. In order to ensure the vaccine quality and safety, all the departments should do their best in supervision on vaccine production, marketing and post-marketing, and should formulate the emergency preplans for adverse reaction monitoring on A (H1N1) flu.

       At the same time, all the departments should integrate prevention and control on A (H1N1) flu with daily supervision; especially enhance the supervision on the drugs and the medical devices used against A (H1N1) flu.
